Cities

Sober living by town

Each city page owns that search. Streets and maps live there.

Texas

Every house on the map

Click a house. The map jumps to that street. Call 469-747-1201 for the open bed.

What it is

A house with rules. A room. A week that looks like life.

Sober living is not a hospital and it is not a hotel. You share a house with other adults who are staying sober. There is a curfew. There are chores. There are screens. You shop, work, and sleep in the same town you will keep living in.

Women live in women’s houses. Men live in men’s houses. Admissions matches the open bed—you do not show up at a pin and knock.

Pets welcome

Bring your dog. Bring your cat.
Keep your family together.

Real Deal has pet-friendly beds in select houses across Texas. You shouldn't have to choose between getting sober and rehoming the animal that hasn't given up on you. Same $500 a month. Same structure. Your pet comes with.

What it is

A house. Not a hospital. Not a hotel.

Adults live together and stay sober. You have a room. You share a kitchen. You go to work. You come back to a house that is supposed to stay clean.

  • When people move in

After detox, after residential, or when the old address is not safe. You do not have to have just finished a 30-day program. If you still need a hospital, we will say so.

  • How long people stay

Some stay a month. Many stay three to six. Some stay longer because rushing an apartment would put them back in the same kitchen. No fake 90-day package.

  • What a week looks like

Curfew. Chores. Screens. House meetings. Grocery runs. Work or a job search. You are not monitored minute-to-minute. You are not treating it like a crash pad.

  • Cost

Housing is $500 a month. Insurance usually does not pay the rent. PHP and IOP are billed to insurance. Ask admissions what is due to move in.

House rules

What we expect in the house

Structure is the product. These are the non-negotiables.

  • 01

    Stay sober

No alcohol, no drugs. Screens happen. Using in the house is not a private mistake.

  • 02

    Curfew

You live here. You come home. Admissions will tell you the current curfew for that house.

  • 03

    Chores and shared space

Kitchen, bathrooms, and common rooms stay livable. This is a house, not a hotel.

  • 04

    Men’s or women’s houses

Separate homes. We match the open bed. You do not show up at a pin and knock.

  • 05

    Work, school, or a plan

The point is a week that looks like life—not sitting in a room until someone graduates you.

  • 06

    Respect the other adults

Everyone there is trying to stay sober. Drama and using stories that turn into using are how houses fail.

Compare

Sober living vs rehab vs a halfway house

  • Residential rehab

Clinical. 24-hour staff. You do not go to work. We are not that. If you need it, we will say so.

  • Outpatient rehab

The rehab center—PHP or IOP. Housing and rehab center are separate decisions.

  • Halfway house

A looser label. Ours are men’s and women’s sober living homes with curfew, chores, and screens. Streets are on the city pages.

Admissions

How to get a bed

Open daily 8am–8pm. Say the town, men’s or women’s, and when you need the bed.

  • 02

    We say what is open

  • 03

    Rate and move-in

Monthly housing fee. Ask what is due to take the room.

  • 04

Show up to the house you were given

Do not drive to a map pin and knock. Admissions sends you to the open bed.

“Real Deal is without a doubt the most structured and therapeutic rehab program I have ever attended. It has brought me to one year in sobriety and I don't know what I would have done had I not participated in the program. I highly recommend Real Deal to anyone struggling with alcohol and/or drugs. It's amazing. Just try it and you will see for yourself!”

“Real deal is a truly rare place that has instrumental in my rehabilitation. The staff truly cares deeply about you and wants you to succeed. Also Real Deal is one of not many outpatient rehab places that takes primary mental health cases. Highly recommend this place and thank you to everyone who helped me.”

“I love all of these guys. These guys made me feel better. They made me think better. I don't feel those ways anymore. Before I came here, I was certain I wouldn't be alive for much longer. These guys fixed that.”

“The Real Deal is an incredible program that prioritizes accessibility more than almost any other PHP, IOP, and Housing program. With housing fees at lower price point than a majority of sober livings, the option to have your pet with you, and a supportive recovery community, they really do try to eliminate barriers to care as much as possible.”

“Real Deal is different then the others. It offers flexible support for recovery, allowing you to live at home while attending therapy and counseling sessions. It's designed to fit your schedule and provides tools to maintain sobriety and prevent relapse. The focus on mental health is a great way to get to the root of what's gone wrong time and time again. Cannot recommend enough!”

Sober living questions

Pick a town. We match a house.

A regular home where adults live together, stay sober, and follow house rules—curfew, chores, and screens. It is not a hospital and not a locked rehab campus.

People use both names. Ours are men’s and women’s sober living homes with rules and screens. Streets are on the city pages.

Rehab is clinical treatment. This is housing. You live in a neighborhood and go to work. If you need 24-hour medical care, we will say so.

After detox, after residential treatment, or when the old address is not safe. You do not have to have just finished a 30-day program.

It depends. Some stay a month. Many stay several months. There is no honest one-size calendar.

Housing is $500 a month. Ask admissions what is due to move in.

Yes, in select houses. Dogs need to be house-trained, vaccinated, and non-aggressive. Cats need to use a litter box. There's a small pet fee and refundable deposit. Full details on our pet-friendly sober living page, or call 469-747-1201.

Usually no. Rent is $500 a month and separate from rehab center benefits. Insurance typically covers PHP and IOP. We verify those benefits before you start.

They work when the house stays sober and you use the structure—rules, peers, a week that looks like life. They fail when the old address was the whole plan.
