The admissions process From first call to first group, step by step
Human process, not a sales funnel. Our admissions team answers the phone — every rep is in recovery themselves, with years of their own experience in both sobriety and mental-health treatment. We ask honest questions. We tell you honestly what fits.
How admission works
- 01
The first call (15–30 minutes)
An admissions rep does a confidential intake — substances, mental health, safety, medical picture, work and family situation, insurance. Every rep on this line is in recovery themselves, with years of experience in both sobriety and mental-health treatment. Our clinical team then confirms the level of care that fits — or if a different provider fits better.
- 02
Insurance verified (about 15 minutes)
Free, no obligation. We verify your specific plan’s coverage for PHP and IOP, calculate your estimated out-of-pocket, and explain it in plain language.
- 03
Detox coordination if needed
If you’re withdrawing from alcohol, benzos, or opioids and stopping alone isn’t safe, we coordinate medical detox with a trusted partner. Your outpatient spot is held.
- 04
Day one intake
Paperwork, psychiatric evaluation, individual therapy intake, and your first group. Same-day or next-day starts are common when the clinical fit is clear.
- 05
First week
You settle into the group rhythm, meet your individual therapist, and — if medication is part of your plan — begin working with our psychiatric team. Sober living residents move in around now.
- 06
Ongoing plan
PHP for as long as you need daily structure. Step down to IOP as stability grows. Continue with weekly outpatient support until step-down is complete.

Admissions questions
Often same day. Almost always within 48 hours when the clinical fit is clear and insurance verifies quickly.
No. First assessment is by phone. In-person happens on day one.
We coordinate that with medical detox partners, then move you into outpatient care.
Call anyway. We work with various situations and can talk through options.
